Omcirkel het grootste deel van het eiland Oahu tijdens een dagtour met een minibus die beperkt is tot 24 (mogelijk meer dan 28) passagiers, een kleinere groep dan typische bustours op het eiland. Met een informatieve gids maak je ongeveer een dozijn stops, inclusief de kans om Hawaiiaanse groene zeeschildpadden in hun natuurlijke omgeving te zien tijdens een uur snorkelen aan de noordkust van Oahu. Diamond Head
Het eerste uitkijkpunt dat we bezoeken is een verhoogd uitzicht aan de oostelijke kant van de beroemde Diamond Head-vulkaan van Waikiki. heldere dag. De locatie is meer formeel bekend als Amelia Earhart Lookout, bekend van de plek waar omstanders samenkwamen om Earhart haar eerste solo-luchtvaartreis van HawaĂŻ naar Noord-Amerika te zien maken.

Halona Blowhole
Gesmolten lavabuizen van vulkaanuitbarstingen die plaatsvonden vanuit de Koko Head-krater van Oahu vormden het natuurlijke voorkomen dat bekend staat als het Halona-blaasgat. Deze lavabuis strekt zich uit in de oceaan met een zeer smalle opening aan de bovenkant, en wanneer de branding precies goed is, bouwt de waterdruk zich op in de lavabuis en barst uit door de smalle opening, waardoor een speciale Hawaiiaanse geiser ontstaat voor uw kijkplezier.

Makapu'u Point
Wees getuige van de dramatische zeekliffen van Waimanalo terwijl we de loefzijde van Oahu inslaan terwijl we onze reis naar de noordkust van Oahu beginnen. Na een prachtige rit langs de oostkust van Oahu, is onze volgende stop een lokale winkel die zich bevindt onder oude Banyan Trees met macadamia-noot en heerlijke Kona-koffieproeverijen, samen met zeer verleidelijke HawaĂŻaanse chocolaatjes en andere lekkernijen.

Mokoli’i Island
Chinaman's Hat, ook bekend als Mokolii, ligt pal naast het Kualoa Valley-gebergte. Deze locatie staat bekend om zijn dramatische landschap, gefilmd in een aantal Hollywood-films; met name en favoriet bij de fans Jurassic Park. Het eiland heeft de bijnaam Chinaman's Hat gekregen vanwege de gelijkenis met de strohoeden die de Chinese immigranten droegen toen ze in de vroege jaren 1900 op de suikerplantages van Oahu werkten.

Sunset Beach
Een verandering van tempo van de drukke stranden van Waikiki, het beruchte Sunset Beach aan de noordkust biedt rust en is de belichaming van een prachtig Hawaiiaans strand. Laat u echter niet voor de gek houden door de zomermaanden, tijdens de wintermaanden zijn golven van 30 tot 40 voet te zien vanaf de veilige grenzen van de kust.

Awesome tour! Kurt was a great guide and was quite entertaining throughout the entire trip. We got to swim with sea turtles, taste different macadamia nuts, and try pineapple whip at the Dole Plantation. Minimal walking and good amount of time at each stop to check out what there is to see. I would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to go to some of these "must see" places on Oahu!

We toured with Kurt (guide) and Harry (driver) it was an excellent high yield tour. Our day was stormy so we did not get to so snorkel. However everything else was as described. Perfect photo ops, lunch and stops we did with them. They’re courteous entertaining and kind. They got to know us and us them. We snatched great recs of what to do in the areas we visited for future visits. I feel like we got to know the island bit better than when we started. Highly recommend them and this tour of it’s yours first time.

Kurt and Harry were awesome! Very knowledgeable and we had a great time learning and seeing what Oahu has to offer. My fav has to be the fruit stand on the side of the road where we had deep fried bananas. Lunch was also delicious at the farm we stopped at! Yum shrimp! Highly recommend. Very personable trip. Would do it again.
